From one master file to every format
Like a pattern's sewing instructions: four steps, in order, each one checked before the next.

- 1Step 1
Set up your master file
Draw your pattern once, in Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity or anything that exports a layered PDF. Put each size on its own layer, shared things (grainlines, notches, text) on layers that start with an underscore, and add a 100 mm test square anywhere.
Named your layers differently? That's fine: you match them up on screen in the next step.

- 2Step 2
Upload and check the layers
Your file goes straight to private storage and is read in a few seconds. You see a preview, each layer with what Sewpress thinks it is, and the test square as measured.
The classic mistake gets caught here: a file exported at 72 or 90 px/in instead of 96 measures 75 mm instead of 100. One click fixes the scale before anything is built.
Test square measures 75.00 mm. Looks like a 72 px/in export. Scale it up to 96
- 3Step 3
Press every format
The engine places your master once and never redraws it, so nothing drifts between formats. It tiles A4 and Letter with IDs, diamonds and an assembly map; lays out A0 and 36 × 48 in sheets; makes the projector file with heavier lines; and keeps every size as its own PDF layer.
Version and date go on every page. Print scaling is switched off in each file, so a sewist's printer can't quietly shrink it.

- 4Step 4
Download, measured
Every file is opened again and its test square measured twice, by two different PDF engines. You get the PDFs, previews of each, a zip of everything and an email when they're ready.
